These are the following things you should follow while applying for a Singapore:

  • Apply for the visa at least a month before your travel.
  • A valid passport.
  • Singapore issues different visa’s for different categories like student visa, business visa, tourist visa and so on so carefully apply the visa according to the requirements.
  • Singapore allows multiple entries and is issued for a period of 2 years and allows you to stay for a period of 30 days.
  • Singapore issues an e-visa or electronic visa that means that the visa is emailed to you on your email id and you need to print it and carry it with your passport.
  • You need to have 2 recent passport size photographs, cover letter, bank statement and return flight tickets.

  • Application form is filled correctly: Ensure that details filled in the application process are correct and completely filled. A single mistake could lead to visa refusal.
  • Your Singapore Visa is Valid: The issued visa is still valid and you have a photocopy of the e-visa issued.
  • Your documents is complete : Ensure that all the documents and id proofs are correct and not damaged
  • No intention of returning Home: If they sense that you have no intent of returning back home to India it would lead to visa refusal
  • Insufficient Bank balance: If you don’t have the necessary funds then it could lead to visa refusal. A minimum of RS 50,000 is required according to the Singapore government
  • Criminal History: Ensure that you have no criminal records or active criminal cases. It can lead to Visa refusal

The Singapore Tourist Visa is issued by the Singapore ICA authority and allows you to stay up to 30 days in the country.

  • Original cover letter addressed to Singapore Consulate from an Indian company.

  • Accommodation details.
  • Visa application form.
  • Recent 2 passport size photographs.
  • Salary slips of past 3 months or sponsorship if any.
